Background
In Torch Light 2 Engineers have managed to excel with Technology and are the creators of the transport system. They came to the land as builders and explorers of ancient dwarven ruins hoping to unlock the knowledge of the ancient civilization. Now a select group of Engineers have taken arms against the enemies of the new land and are wielding heavy hammers and wearing technological enhanced armor to crush their foes to bring peace to the land.
Engineers have had many appearances in video games from World Of Warcraft to Warhammer our warriors of technological might have always had their place in games. Torch Light 2 took the approach of making them more tank like and thus giving them a new role of the protector which makes the class more useful than just another damage dealer.
Base Stats
The engineer starts with 15 strength, 5 dexterity, 15 vitality, and 5 focus. The class was made to be tank but with a proper spec can actually be a very formidable damage dealer. They even have support skills with the use of their robotics to keep their allies alive. The Engineer is not tied down to just the role of the tank and it can be whatever you make it into making it the most versatile class in the game.
